Finding and Bidding on Loads

EZShip makes it easy to find profitable loads that match your equipment and preferred lanes.

Browsing Available Loads

Go to Loads > Browse to see all available loads. Each listing shows:

• Pickup and delivery locations
• Equipment type required
• Shipment weight and commodity
• Target rate (if set by shipper)
• Pickup and delivery dates
• Shipper rating

Using Filters

Narrow your search with powerful filters:

• Origin/Destination — Search by city, state, or zip code radius
• Equipment type — Dry van, flatbed, reefer, step deck, etc.
• Load type — FTL or LTL
• Date range — Filter by pickup date
• Rate range — Minimum and maximum rate
• Distance — Filter by total mileage
• Shipper rating — Minimum shipper rating

Setting Lane Preferences

Save your preferred lanes to get notified automatically:

1. Go to Settings > Lane Preferences
2. Add your regular routes (e.g., Chicago, IL → Dallas, TX)
3. Set equipment type and rate preferences
4. Enable notifications for matching loads

Submitting a Bid

1. Click on a load to view full details
2. Review all requirements and special handling needs
3. Click Place Bid
4. Enter your bid amount
5. Add notes (available dates, equipment details, etc.)
6. Click Submit

Bid Strategy Tips

• Research rates — Check current market rates for the lane
• Consider deadhead — Factor in empty miles to reach pickup
• Be competitive — Price close to the target rate for better chances
• Respond quickly — Shippers often accept the first quality bid
• Build your profile — High ratings and completed loads increase acceptance rates
• Bid on volume — More bids mean more opportunities
