Setting Up Your Company Profile

A complete company profile helps build trust with other users and is required before you can post or bid on loads.

Accessing Your Profile

1. Log in to your EZShip account
2. Click your avatar or name in the top-right corner
3. Select Company Profile from the dropdown menu

Required Information

For All Users

• Company name — Your legal business name
• Business address — Primary office or headquarters location
• Phone number — Main business contact number
• Operating regions — States or regions where you operate

For Carriers (Additional)

• DOT Number — Your Department of Transportation number
• MC Number — Your Motor Carrier authority number
• Insurance certificate — Upload your current certificate of insurance (COI)
• W-9 form — Required for payment processing
• Equipment types — Dry van, flatbed, reefer, etc.

For Shippers (Additional)

• Industry type — Manufacturing, retail, agriculture, etc.
• Average monthly shipment volume — Helps carriers understand your scale
• Preferred equipment types — What trailer types you typically need

Verification Process

After submitting your profile:

1. Automated checks — We verify your DOT/MC numbers against FMCSA databases
2. Document review — Our team reviews uploaded insurance and authority documents
3. Approval notification — You'll receive an email once your profile is verified (1–2 business days)

Tips for a Strong Profile

• Upload a professional company logo
• Write a brief company description highlighting your specialties
• Keep insurance documents up to date — expired documents will suspend your account
• Add multiple team members if applicable
