How to create your EZShip account

Step-by-step guide to signing up as a Shipper or Carrier on the EZShip platform.

Creating Your EZShip Account

Getting started with EZShip is quick and straightforward. Follow these steps to create your account and start moving freight.

Step 1: Visit the Registration Page

Navigate to ezship.com/register or tap Get Started from the homepage. You'll be presented with two account types to choose from.

Step 2: Choose Your Account Type

  • Shipper — You have freight that needs to be moved. You'll post loads and receive bids from verified carriers.
  • Carrier — You operate trucks and want to find loads. You'll browse available shipments and submit competitive bids.

Note: If you operate as both a shipper and a carrier, you can enable dual-role access from your account settings after registration.

Step 3: Enter Your Information

Fill in the required fields:

  • Full name
  • Business email address
  • Phone number
  • Company name
  • DOT number (for carriers)
  • Password (minimum 8 characters, must include a number and special character)

Step 4: Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for a verification email from EZShip. Click the verification link to activate your account. The link expires after 24 hours.

Step 5: Complete Your Profile

After verification, you'll be guided through setting up your company profile, including:

  • Business address and operating regions
  • Insurance documentation (for carriers)
  • MC/DOT authority verification (for carriers)
  • Payment method setup

What Happens Next?

  • Shippers can immediately start posting loads once their profile is complete.
  • Carriers will go through a brief verification process (typically 1–2 business days) before they can bid on loads.
