Tracking Your Shipment in Real-Time
EZShip provides live shipment tracking so you always know where your freight is.
How Tracking Works
Once a load is picked up, the carrier's EZShip app shares location data in real-time:
- GPS updates every 5 minutes while in transit
- Status milestones at key points (pickup, in transit, delivered)
- ETA calculations based on current location and route
Viewing Your Shipment
- Go to Shipments > Active in your dashboard
- Click on the shipment you want to track
- View the live map with the carrier's current position
Tracking Details
The tracking screen shows:
- Live map — Carrier's current position with route overlay
- ETA — Estimated time of arrival, updated in real-time
- Status timeline — Visual timeline of all status updates
- Carrier info — Driver name, phone, and truck details
- Documents — Uploaded BOL, POD, and photos
Status Updates
You'll see these status milestones:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Booked | Load assigned to carrier |
| En Route to Pickup | Carrier heading to pickup location |
| At Pickup | Carrier arrived at pickup |
| Loaded | Freight loaded onto truck |
| In Transit | Shipment on the road |
| At Delivery | Carrier arrived at destination |
| Delivered | Freight successfully delivered |
Notifications
Enable push notifications to receive alerts for:
- Carrier arrival at pickup
- Shipment departure
- Approaching delivery
- Delivery confirmation
- Any delays or issues reported
Sharing Tracking
Click Share Tracking to generate a link your customers or team members can use to follow the shipment without needing an EZShip account.
