Updating Your Profile Information

Keep your account information current to ensure smooth operations on EZShip.

What You Can Update

Personal Information

  • Full name
  • Email address (requires re-verification)
  • Phone number
  • Profile photo

Company Information

  • Company name (requires support approval)
  • Business address
  • Operating regions
  • Company description and logo
  • Industry type

Carrier-Specific

  • Equipment types
  • Lane preferences
  • Insurance documents
  • DOT/MC information (requires re-verification)

How to Update

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Choose the section you want to edit
  4. Make your changes
  5. Click Save Changes

Email Address Changes

Changing your email requires:

  1. Enter your new email address
  2. Confirm with your current password
  3. Verify the new email via a confirmation link
  4. Your old email receives a notification of the change

Company Name Changes

Since your company name appears on contracts and invoices:

  1. Submit a change request through Settings > Company > Request Name Change
  2. Provide documentation (e.g., articles of amendment, DBA filing)
  3. Our team reviews and processes within 2–3 business days

Important Notes

  • Changing your email may require re-verification of your account
  • Updated insurance documents must be reviewed before becoming active
  • Some changes (DOT number, MC number) require support intervention
  • Historical records retain the information that was current at the time
